Chris Mitchell es un periodista australiano y es "editor-in-chief" de Queensland Newspapers. Empezó trabajando en el antiguo periódico de las tardes The Telegraph, en el año 1973 y luego trabajó por The Townsville Bulletin, The Daily Telegraph (Australia) y el "Australian Financial Review", y luego The Australian en 1992. Este periódico es propiedad de Rupert Murdoch.
