The Return (álbum de Bathory)

The Return of the Darkness and Evil es el segundo álbum de Bathory. tuvo una influencia significativa en el desarrollo del black metal.^[1]​

Quorthon explicó el título del álbum como tal: "Queríamos que la gente simplemente leyera The Return ...... -como en un segundo álbum o un seguimiento- y luego voltee el álbum para buscar una lista de seguimiento. No encontrar uno, qué obtuvieron este poema apocalíptico con los títulos de las canciones entrelazados. Solo después de escuchar el álbum hasta el final obtendrías el título completo del álbum, The Return of the Darkness and Evil ".^[2]​
