Lewis Pullman




Lewis James Pullman (born January 29, 1993) is an American actor. He is known for his leading roles in the 2018 films The Strangers: Prey at Night and Bad Times at the El Royale.[2][3] He will co-star in the action sequel Top Gun: Maverick.[4] Pullman also plays drums for the band Atta Boy.

Pullman was born in Los Angeles, California, the son of Bill Pullman, an actor, and Tamara Hurwitz, a modern dancer. He has a sister, Maesa, and a brother, Jack.[5]

In 2013, Pullman's acting career began with the short film The Tutor. He has since gone on to have supporting roles in The Ballad of Lefty Brown, Lean on Pete, and Battle of the Sexes. He also had a leading role in Bad Times at the El Royale alongside Jeff Bridges, Chris Hemsworth, Jon Hamm, and Dakota Johnson; and he also starred in the Hulu adaptation of Catch-22 as Major Major Major Major, alongside Christopher Abbott, George Clooney, Kyle Chandler, and Hugh Laurie. He will also co-star alongside Tom Cruise, Miles Teller, Jon Hamm, and Glenn Powell in Top Gun: Maverick.

Pullman plays drums[6] in the band Atta Boy, along with actress/musician Eden Brolin (daughter of Josh Brolin), Freddy Reish, and Dashel Thompson. They released their first album, Out of Sorts, in 2012. They released their second album, Big Heart Manners, in 2020.
